CelticFest starts early with a special festival preview event at The Village on False Creek, Saturday, March 10th. Join us for a family-friendly afternoon of free Celtic music and dance, plus food, face painting, fun, and a few surprises! Hear some of Celtic music's finest live on stage - including Seattle's fiddling, dancing, and singing sensations, The Gothard Sisters. FALSE CREEK GETTING BUSIER THANKS TO THE VILLAGE

With Urban Fare, London Drugs, Village Kitchen, and Subway getting ready to open in the coming months, The Village is undoubtedly becoming the hub of Southeast False Creek, backed up by News1130's reporting. A CREEKSIDE CHRISTMAS

The tree is up and the festive lights are twinkling in the plaza at The Village on False Creek.

And that plaza is becoming increasingly vibrant, with well over half of The Village condos now sold, and the bulk of the plaza's commercial space leased.

Marketer Bob Rennie reports that of the 737 market condos in the project, over 450 have been purchased.

AQUABUS DOCK NOW OPEN

Your last minute trips to Granville Island are now even faster with the newly opened Aquabus dock. Located west of Creekside Community Recreation Centre at the north end of The Village Plaza, residents and visitors to The Village can enjoy the oceanic-route to Yaletown, Granville Island, and beyond from 6:45AM to 8:45PM, check out their website for further information. VILLAGE CLEANERS NOW OPEN

Village Cleaners has officially opened for business. Residents at The Village now have eco-friendly "wet cleaning", tailoring and shoe repair right at their front door! With Canada's very first automated Drop-Off/Pick-Up Kiosk, customers will have 24/7 access to their garments.
